Continuing the series of "things people keep asking me about", today's tips post is about FP, and how to farm it.
FP (which I believe means Friend Points, but no one really knows) is acquired by participating in raids that have stalled out and are now at a reduced cost to join.
FP-eligible raids have a golden box around the EP cost, as such:
A raid will become FP-eligible once it has been opened to the public and over five minutes have passed since without the boss dying.
You can gain FP from a raid even if you joined before it became FP-eligible, even if you're the host, as long as it became FP-eligible at some point before clearing.
FP can be exchanged for a wide array of important materials, including Six Dragon unique materials, and Huanglong/Qilin anima, making it quite a sought after currency. Because of this, once a raid becomes FP-eligible, it will often just die in seconds.
The amount of FP you can gain in a raid is determined by how much damage you dealt, capping at 110 FP, for 20 Million damage. This will be our goal.
Due to the insanely fast speed at which FP raids can clear, my personal recommendation is that you focus on optimizing your damage on a singular attack, without pressing any skills. If you're still pressing Limit Burst and the raid dies, you get nothing for it after all.
Start by turning off your Live Battle Feed (Settings > Battle) and enabling single click Semi Auto. This will ensure you get to swing as fast as possible.
Then comes creating a team that can deal enough damage to gain FP without pressing any skills. You'll have to do this for each element, naturally.
There are several ways to do this, but the quintessential way is to utilize a Huanglong x Huanglong 3-chain setup, like such:
The recommended main class for this is Chrysaor, due to the incredibly strong Ultimate Mastery skill Astrapste, as seen. Astrapste triggers automatically after a chain burst, so you get extra damage without having to click it at all.
If you don't have access to Ultimate Mastery - Cavalier with a Gun equipped is also a decent option, as it helps patch up low grid damage with its passive.
If you've never seen one of these, the idea is that you place an Eternal in the first slot to initiate a charge attack chain. Thanks to the Shield of Eternal Splendor (the Wonder awarded for recruiting all 10 Eternals), the two Huanglong summons, and the 30% Charge Bar from crew buffs, your Eternal will start with 100% immediately, and pass it on to the following two characters.
You want to prioritize characters who either have super high C.A. damage (e.g. I'm using Summer Shiva) or have additional skill damage upon charge attacking (such as my Yukata Narmaya). Here's a list you can reference for high C.A. damage characters.
